The PCC decided at its meeting last Tuesday, March 22nd 2022, to change the way in which we try and keep each other safe from the transmission of Covid. As national regulations have been removed and the onus placed upon individuals to determine for themselves the measures that they deem appropriate to take, we have decided to:

  1.Remove the signs from the pews which designated some not to be sat upon

  2.Remove the signs from church drawing attention to what social distancing entails

  3.Stop the one way system into and out of church

  4.Change the language around face coverings from an expectation that ‘strongly encouraged’ the use of a face covering to   an expectation that leaves the decision with the individual

  5.Emphasise the Biblical responsibility that we have not just for our own welfare but the welfare of

  others (1 Corinthians 12.12-27)

  6.Retain the use of a face covering for the person who distributes communion.

  7.Keep on providing hand sanitiser in the Narthex
